THE WALL
I stand by a glass wall beholding the world yonder,
I stare helplessly and wait in despair..,
In two minds, what should my heart care?
Should I return to my world familiar and debonair,
Or await a gentle caress when someday the glass wall disappears!
I long to be a part; but for the divide in time and space it renders.
At times the view beyond is clear, at others its foggy and blur,
So near yet so far; even my voice noone there can hear.I stare helplessly and wait in despair..,
In two minds, what should my heart care?
Should I return to my world familiar and debonair,
Or await a gentle caress when someday the glass wall disappears!
