Inscrutable Expressions!

A short poem written to mark the end of my probation period in Infineon Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. I'm in the team, I'm in the team, It gives me joys to think. I'm no longer the 12th player, Though never did it occur,I wasn't as much a member. The game ahead is challenging, I may falter and still need a patting, 'Coz I'm green and naïve And the team is all experienced and suave. I may not score a century, But I assure the ball shall definitely hit a few boundaries. I may miss a catch or two, But shall surely send a few on duck too. I'll try my best not to a wide or no ball throw, And in running between the wickets, not get out and go. I've played a few innings, And might not have been outstanding. But its just the beginning Soon my ball shall go spinning And my strike-rate shall go soaring. Be it a test match or one day, I shall never be to the team's dismay. I shall play the game in my style, But for the team's best interest,shall always go...

Dreams open up the world as cannot be perceived by open eyes.

Do the choices we make change our lives or does the life make us change our choices!

I am a 'common' man--how does it sound? As hackneyed as it means...!! Every other man walking on the road,travelling in a local train or bus,or thronging the parks, museums, theatres, temples is a common man..Right?? Struggling to earn a living, though never despirited as to see larger than life dreams(still being aware of the line between--CanS and Can notS),but sacrificing all the more to make spouse,children,parents happy,cutting down to 'LivingSize',as I reckon, in everything."Savings" (It is the buzzword !! The more you amass or succeed in doing so,the more is your Intellectual meter shooting) demarcates the more judicious lot."Expenditures" are curtailed as much as possible and frugality is practised. There is neither deprivation nor flaunt. Life's squeezed on all sides! And its not possible to break free from the hassles of life. But yes,that was the bird's eye view. There is something 'un'common about every common man you walk...

Look for happiness within yourself...Its only when your being happy depends on others then you land up being sad.

The sunflower awaited his rise with excitement everyday and bade him good-bye sadly just at the onset of dusk each day.They spent approx. 12 hours together each day.They enjoyed and laughed gaily.The world seemed more beautiful to the sunflower now.But behind this smile lay hidden the dark clouds of sadness for she could never meet him--yes she would never meet the sun ever;not even once in her lifetime.So she would never miss a single moment:she would look at him from the dawn to dusk,turn wherever he would look.All those angles would come easily to her which gave her full view of him.But what was this...why would she never want to spare a moment of looking at him by seeing something else?Why everything else seemed so insignificant in his presence?She never knew it.And she never enquired about it.She was just too satisfied with the way things were.The sun too enjoyed her company.All other beings were happy on earth because the sun was glad and he gave them warmth enough to susta...
